Happy Canada Day!

I’ve been up all night and am still writing the situation report on Pakistan’s humanitarian efforts on the 1.9 million official internally displaced people.  After complaining for the past month about the wailing and chanting that keeps me up at night from the two mosques in the region, NOW I’m finding their chanting quite comforting as I try and get through the witching hour and wait for dawn to break.

Hope your Canada Day is fun and exciting.  I’ll be working…on..you guessed it…the situation report.
